It is worth noting that two memorial aircraft of S7 Airlines have been displayed already in the museum of Novosibirsk airport: Тu-154М RA-85628 and Il-86 RA-86097.
The first aircraft Тu-154 was built in 1968. It was rightfully called the major passenger airliner in the Soviet Union. Besides, 150 Тu-154 aircraft were exported. Since 2008, following the economy crisis, the revenue operations of Тu-154 became unprofitable and Russian airlines massively started to cease operations of the type. Presently, the only two commercial operators of Tu-154 in the world are Air Koryo (North Korea) and ALROSA airlines (in addition to Izhma, the carrier still have one more Tu-154 aircraft in its fleet). Current characteristics of Tu-154 Izhma correspond to original factory specifications: length — 48 m, wingspan — 37.55 m, aircraft height — 11.4 m, maximum take-off weight of the airliner — 104, 000 kg. Flight range of the aircraft — 3,900 km, maximum cruise speed — 850 km/h. Aircraft seat capacity is 150 passengers and 4 cabin crew members.
