Tolmachevo Airport’s Delegation Took Part in the Routes-2007.
Management of JSC Tolmachevo Airport took part in 13-th World Route Development Forum held in Stockholm on September 23-25.
The delegation from Tolmachevo Airport was headed by Boris Korol, the Chairman of Tolmachevo Airport’s Board of Directors and Deputy of Minister of Transport of Russia. Also the members of the delegation were Tolmachevo Airport’s General Director Alexei Chertenkov, Chief of Administrative Board Kirill Pokrovskiy, CFO Abdul Kussayev and others.
Representatives of Tolmachevo Airport for the first time participated in the World Route Development Forum – the place of meetings of airlines and airports from all continents of the world. During the two days of the event top managers of the Company personally met the representatives of such passenger and cargo airlines as Air Berlin, Emirates, Turkish Airlines, CSA Czech Airlines, Thai Airways, DHL, FedEx, UPS, Air China Cargo, Emirates Sky Cargo and others.
- Participation of Tolmachevo Airport in the event will undoubtedly bring some dividends to the Company – Boris Korol noted – during the meetings the partners are suggested with optimal variants of collaboration which will kindle their interest.
World Route Development Forum opened Tolmachevo Airport opportunities to make a statement at international aviation arena, establish direct contacts with representatives of international air carriers and make available information about the possibilities of the airport. Negotiations with the representatives of airlines let the management of the Company to express commercial proposals to the leaders of international airlines.
Within the framework of the World Route Development Forum 2007 there were arranged over 25 000 scheduled meetings between senior managers of airports and leaders of airlines from all over the world. The independent study showed 67 % of airlines’ representatives which took part in Routes in 2006 were the decision makers in their companies.
